On September 15 and 16, the Institute of Southeast Europe for Health and Social Policy, in collaboration with the Heimerer Therapeutic Center, hosted workshops on “Functional Communication Training” with lecturer Dr. Bojan Radic PhD. and “Managing challenging behaviors in ASD children ” with lecturer Assistant Professor Dr. Andressa DeSouza. Participants in these two workshops included health professionals, students, and parents who learned more about functional communication and managing challenging behaviors in children on the autism spectrum (ASD).

We were happy that both experts were part of this year’s edition of the International Health Sciences Symposium in the role of moderator (Dr. Bojan Radic PhD) and keynote speaker (Assistant Professor Dr. Andresa DeSouza) in the session “Multidisciplinary Approaches to Disorder Spectrum of Autism”.
