On November 19, 2019, a memorandum of understanding was signed between HC and SOK, which will focus on strengthening health systems to serve all persons with intellectual disabilities, including athletes competing in Special Olympic Games events.

The organization of symposiums, conferences, training sessions, joint meetings and other social activities related to the promotion and social integration of children with intellectual disabilities will be made possible through this collaboration between the Institute of Southeast European for Health and Social Policy and Special Olympics Kosovo.
