The Heinstain Incubator, in collaboration with the Institute of Southeast Europe for Health and Social Policy and the Heimerer College, hosted a two-day training on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” on September 15 and 16.
On the first day of the training, professors: Panu Karhinen from Metropolia University in Finland and Janne Laitinen from the University of Applied Sciences, Jamk in Finland, were invited to serve as international trainers. Mr. Karhinen lectured on the topic “Basic understanding of innovation concepts and entrepreneurship”, while professor Laitinen lectured on “Intrapreneurship vs. Entrepreneurship”. Local trainers, Erza Selmani and Suhida Dermani spoke on the Innovation Process: the main stages and their importance in the development of ideas. Also two huge projects were presented: the ICR (Innovation, Care and Robotics) as well as the Eramus for Young Entrepreneurs project, in which the College Heimerer is the Contact Office for Kosovo. The last trainer for the day (but not least) was Mr. Oscar Romero, Chief Information Officer at New York City Civic Engagement Commission, NYC Mayor Office.
